Wow, what a great experience and class! I would like to personally thank Lynn Wilder for coming up to Sonora, and teaching in our Nest!
Patchwork Math on February 21st was a completely sold out class of 12 lovely ladies. Lynn is quiet, thoughtful and very thorough in her teaching style. Our ladies enjoyed over 6 hours of instruction and everyone had a great day!
Listen to this review:
“We had a great class with Lynn Wilder at Quail’s Nest yesterday. Lots of valuable information to be used by all level of quilters. Really looking forward to Lynn returning…” -Gay L.
Another Class participant said, “Lynn is a great teacher love her work, and all her beautiful quilts. She teaches us how easy it could be!” -Barbara B.
Lynn uses a document projector to demonstrate the cutting techniques and methods she uses for block assembly. A really interesting aspect is that everyone in the class was essentially doing he same thing, yet we all ended up with different blocks. Her simple way of demonstrating how to combine block components to make a full block taught us all the amount of variety that could be created from a few simple steps.
One friend replied with “[I’ve taken] two quilt classes from Lynn and she is an excellent teacher.” B. Barrieau
Ladies, if we want Lynn back teaching this class again, let’s get a sign up list going. Lynn’s schedule books up quickly!
