Beginning Quilting
This class teaches the fundamental skills needed to make a quilt top, from making the first clean-up cut to accurate scant 1/4 inch seams. Not only is it appropriate for beginning quilters, but also those who have been self-taught and want more precision.

Emma's Pocket Dollhouse Quilt pattern by The Apron Lady designs. It's fusible applique with added trinkets. Anyone who has taken this class at Bearly Quilting, but wants to continue to work on their dollhouse should join us. Also, anyone who has purchased the pattern and wants some direct instruction should come on any of the scheduled dates.
Quiltin' With the Quails
This just means that the classroom is available for use. It is $5.00 to work on your own. Direct instruction is $20.00.

This class requires the book titled, "The Simple Simon Guide to Patchwork Quilting". Blocks that will be taught in this class are railfence, pinwheels, flying geese, churn dash, and the Ohio star. Small projects can be made based on these blocks. The half-square triangle is the basic block to so many quilt blocks. You will be on your way to many more quilt patterns. Anyone can take this class and enjoy the projects, as well as, hone up on your skills.
Cost: $ 60.00

This is a foundation pieced string style throw that has flannel instead of batting in the middle. This technique was requested by a few customers who had stopped by in the fall. It uses so many of your scraps! Placement of color is the key and I will teach this concept. The class will repeat on June 5th.
