Isn't it nice to have a bit of relief from the heat and smoke? There is a hint of Fall with us now. The Fall fabric line by Northcott called, Maplewood will have a second printing soon. The rusty orange, green, and varigated fabrics will arrive some time in September. There are panels and a bit of the original fabric left.
It's time for the Fall/winter Show season to begin, with the Sierra Quilt Guild's show on the 15th and 16th, at Ironstone the Independance Hall Quilter's have their show on October, 19,20, and 21. We will also be trying out the show in Lodi put on by Tokay's Stitch n Quilt Guild on November 3rd and 4th. We are excited that it is the year for Country Crossroads Quilters in Modesto to hold their show on January 19th and 20th. We will have "Show Specials" here at the shop if you are unable to get to these shows.
Autumn is also the time to be thinking about gift projects. This month there is the tea satchel (not to be confused with a tea cozy) that folds up small, but opens wide to hold tea bags, hot chocolate packets, or instant apple cider packets. It takes one Fat Quarter and a set of magnetic snaps. This is on Wednesday, September 12th. 10:00-12:30 $10.00 class
