Our Anniversary is just around the corner!  It is hard to believe that we have been open for almost two years.  October 21st is the actual day that Quail's Nest opened, but the whole weekend of the Independance Hall Quilt Faire will be a celebration for us.  As most of you know, this Quilt Show is held in Murphy's at the Ironstone facility, and it will be Friday, October 19th through Sunday, October 21st.  Quail's Nest will be open on Friday, and Saturday, but not Sunday.  However, we will be vending at Ironstone on all three days!

Here are some classes that may create Christmas gifts.  The Dainty Tote, Jelly Roll Rugs, Poinsettia Crayon pillow or wall hanging (This can be any flower or design actually), and the Winter "Quilt as You Go" table runner.

The Dainty Tote - This is a free download from Craftsy.  I downloaded a pattern and we can send a link.  Lindy Miller is teaching the class.  The bag measures 10" W X 4" D X 7" in Height.  It can have a zipper closure or a magnetic closure, the handles can easily be lengthened, but comes with a 4" handle drop.  Mini charms can make up the front panel or a 10 1/2" by 18 1/2" piece of attractive fabric can be used.

THIS CAN BE MADE INTO A PILLOW.                                I HAVE BEAUTIFUL POINSETTIA FABRIC WITH A BLACK BACKGROUND.  USE YOUR OWN CRAYON VALUES.  I HAVE SOME HOT RIBBON IN RED AND GOLD, AS WELL AS SILVER.

                   Surround this with the right fabrics and hot ribbon and it will be beautiful!

WINTER "QUILT AS YOU GO" TABLE RUNNER      $20.00  OCTOBER 30TH     KIT AVAILABLE AND RECOMMENDED $36.99 WHICH INCLUDES THE BACKING and BINDING.  If you take the class, a pre-sprayed piece of batting will be provided.  The kit has PRE-CUT applique pieces with fusible on them.
THE PATTERN IS AVAILABLE AS WELL, SO YOU CAN SELECT YOUR OWN FABRICS. Curved edges and binding will be added.
