We have these fabrics in and our block is about ready to launch!  We will show it off March 1st.  The block party starts March 15th.  We can take orders ahead of time.  I am attempting to attach the add direct from Northcott, but let me summarize it for you.                      AVAILABLE NOW!
It is Northcott Fabric's 10th anniversary of their Stonehenge line of fabric.  They have a special line called "Solstice".  I have started with 8 yards  of the 12 bolts of fabric.  Each participating shop makes a block and kits it with their pattern.  This kit will be for sale.  You may order blocks from quilt shops over the phone or internet.  Make a quilt using 12 of the blocks.  The quilt must be made of the Solstice line plus the Copper Stonehenge line is optional.  Submit a photo to Northcott.  The Northcott judges will select 10 finalists and have them send their quilts in for a final round of judging.  They will choose a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winner.  The Grand Prize will be a trip to England for two to see the real Stonehenge!!
The 2nd place prize is $1000.00 USD and Stonehenge fabric valued at $250.00.  The 3rd place winner gets $500 USD and $100.00 of Stonehenge fabric.
There is a second contest!  Make a quilt using the Solstice panel!  It can not exceed 60" X 60".  Shops will select a winning quilt by December 9th and send a picture to Northcott.  Northcott will select 10 winners.  They get $100.00 of Stonehenge fabric and their quilt pictures will be presented on-line.
Thirdly, to honor all of the beautiful Stonehenge quilts made over the past 10 years, Northcott is calling for Stonehenge quilts made of 100% Stonehenge fabrics to be submitted for a chance to be selected for a traveling quilt show display and win prizes!  There will be an open online forum where quilters can upload an image of their quilt and write a brief description about their quilt.  The patterns can be published ones or their own creation.  Northcott judges will select 10 top quilts from each of these categories:  Wall hanging, throw, or bed quilt.  The makers of the selected quilts will receive $50.00 of Stonehenge fabric plus enjoy the privilage of having their quilt travel with the Stonehenge Anniversary display!  All quilts will be returned to their owners.
