Oh! Sew Sunday! Lost Items!
Five dollars is the cost, and you get an ice cream sundae, as well as a pineapple ruler demonstration that goes with a cute bag. The kite ruler will also be demonstrated.
The third Sunday of August and September are the next Oh! Sew Sundays. These dates will also be a class on a modern chevron called "Zig"!
Saturday, August 3rd is a class on our Graffiti quilt. This has a modern construction style which I am excited to teach. It is easy. A class of 8th graders came last year and made it for their teacher. It takes 16 fat quarters. No borders required. Large freezer paper is needed. The kind you buy at the grocery store. 10:00-4:00 $35.00
Midnight Madness is August 4th. It is a Sunday night. (The Game Room is open on Friday and Saturday nights, often having a band.) This event starts at 6:00pm and is over at midnight. This can be a class on a quilt called "The Raven". I have chosen a day time date for this class as well. Which will be Tuesday, August 20th at 10:00.
The Machine Embroidery club has scheduled a sew day on Saturday, August 17th, with a Christmas theme. 10:00-3:00ish
Now, our Lost and Found box has items. The newest item is a 6" X 12" frosted Olfa ruler. There is a cord and a small extention piece with a Dublin Sewing Center sticker on it. There is a pair of silver Gingher scissors (full size), a blue seam ripper, a plastic round container of pins with white balls, Havel's Sew snips, and the smallest ruler in the 1/2" Trio set. And a page from the "Grammy Squares" pattern with the border flowers on it.
