July Updates from Quail's Nest
I know that times are not normal. Many aspects of our lives are affected by Covid-19. There are many aspects of this business that are affected as well. We are moving forward as a shop just fine so far; but, with strange adaptations and occurances. Not all the supplies I want are available, but many notions arrived today, including pins, even the new Magic Grip style. Some fabrics such as solid black and white are a rarity. However, 15 bolts of Stonehenge arrived today! Yoo Hoo!
But, there's More! Many bolts of Banyan Batik blenders arrived with the Stonehenge bolts. I'm struggling to get beautiful border prints to come in for the Hawaiian Wedding Ring quilt. My sewing machine line (EverSewn) is not available util mid to late August. I do have an embroidery machine for sale at half the original price! It is a Ruby Deluxe, Husquavarna. You must come see what all comes with it! It has a mega hoop. This machine was only used for 30 minutes once! $3,000.00 OBO
I decided to go see my son's new house in Manteca tomorrow afternoon, so I am closing the shop at 1:00. I will also be closed on Saturday, for the Fourth of July. The shop will be back open on Tuesday, July 7th.
This small quilt is called, "HO,HO,HO!" It is adorable! It is Free Motion Quilted with wool batting inside! We have a few kits! This is an example of how delightful the Country Christmas ROM and the Sweater Weather quilts will be.
Happy 4th of July, (AT home with your spouse and dog) :)
