September Newsletter from "The Nest"
Quail's Nest Quilt Co will be participating in the International Hang a Quilt Day as part of what the guild has planned for that day. It is on Saturday, September 12th from 10:00-4:00. There is more information on the Sierra Quilt Guild of Tuolumne County's website. Quilts will be displayed outside of the shop, and in front of homes in the Sonora and surrounding areas.
The shop has received preprinted masks as a panel on bolts. There are cute animal faces and more! There are 18 masks on a panel!
Speaking of masks, we will all be wearing our masks or face coverings even when seated at a distanced table. We must follow the county health guidlines.
Patriotic Panels are due to arrive from Robert Kaufman fabrics soon. They are beautiful and different from what I've seen before.
The Southwest Quilt Class is now full on September 19th. If you would like to take the class from Alice Kraus please call us with a date that would work for you. Saturday, September 26th is open and early October is open. 209-536-4009.
We had a great Landscape Bargello Class last Saturday, and another one is scheduled for September 22nd, which is a Tuesday. Here is an example of what someone did! We also had a horse one. I'll have to get a picture for you all.
Tourist Tote Class - Thursday, September the 10th at 10:00 - 2:30. $25.00
Come vote on your favorite version of a Goosetales panel quilt! They are all fantastic. Come get fabric to make one yourself. One has a
pattern to go with it.
