The String Pieced Picnic Throw Class could use one or two more participants. Two very nice ladies are already signed up. It is this Thursday, July 15th from 10:00 until about 3:00. You need about 2 1/2 yards of muslin cut into 9 inch squares. A basting glue stick is helpful. There are 35 blocks, but you will only make a few of them that day. Bring strips of many fabrics that range in size from 3/4" up to 1 1/2" wide, and 8 1/2" to 10" long. We can share scrap strips too. Bring in colors that you want in your throw. Basic sewing suppies, cutting mat, rotary cutter, and sewing machine are all that is needed. No need to straighten strips, they can be slanted, not curved though. The cost is $25.00.
See you soon,
