I finished sewing a new Braid Runner, and I just need to bind it.  I believe that the best date for making this is on November 30th.                       See the newsletter or call us for details.

Fabric:

7/8 yard - cut in half down the fold and sewn together.  If making two Table Runners you can use 1 2/3 yards of backing fabric, cut lengthwise down the fold. In summary, 22" X 60" is recommended for the backing.

1/2 yard Border print

6-7 Fat 8ths OR (6) 2 1/2" strips in graduated color.  The 7th F8th is for the 6 inch center square.  It can be cut from the corner of the backing fabric as well.

1/2" yard for narrow border and binding

Other Supplies:

Batting - 20" X 60"

Spray Baste or Free Fuse powder

Chalk marker (best) or frixion pen

Long pins

Basting pins (quilting safety pins) just 6-8

pressing station: small iron & pad or a pressing roller (wallpaper roller)

working sewing machine/threaded and ready to go!
