March - In like a lion and out like a lamb!  Isn't that true for us this year!  We are appreciative of all you who continually support Quail's Nest Quilt Co., LLC.  We will have a busy spring with 3 to 4 Quilt shows to attend, new fabric lines, and a new Block of the Month underway.  There is a Pioneer Spirit quilt being quilted now, a Route 66 fabric with cars and tools, a New Stars and Stripes VI by Northcott with Mt. Rushmore pictured on it, and a Home Sweet Home line that includes the panel to make Goldilocks, and all the bears.  There are charm packs that a simple baby quilt can be made from.  There is a barnyard panel with complimentary hexagon and blue fabric for children as well.
Also, there are still some plastic eggs hidden with discounts in them.  If you find one we will honor it.
The Block of the month that is in the process of having the sample made is a Sampler Spree with both Lilac Ridge and Summer on the Pond lines of fabric by Moda. More information will be announced soon.
There is a wool Block of the Month still available: Woolly Red Wagons.  The monthly wagons are adorable. Check out the newly finished bunny block.  These blocks are only $15.99.  You do need the pattern to begin the program.

Free Motion Quilting    Tuesday, March 10th    10:00-2:30    $35.00

Supplies needed:  Sewing machine in good working order, quilting gloves like Machingers, Sew Slip free motion mat, two or three 18" quilt sandwiches, and a darning or free motion foot for your machine.  Optional: extension table, Angela Walter's Free Motion Book.

Beyond Beginning Quilting    Wednesday, April 11th    10:00-2:30   $50.00 for 4 sessions  April 25th, May 9th, plus Saturday, May,12th       You will need the book "The Simple Simon Guide to Patchwork Quilting".  Many small projects will be introduced.  The  focus will be on the half square triangle.  The Churn Dash, Pinwheels, Ohio Star, and more will be taught.  If you took Beginning Quilting it is time to take this.
But, anyone can join in.

BALI SEA STAR        SATURDAY, APRIL 14TH    10:00-4:30   $45.00

Maurine Gonzales teaches this class and gives many great tips as well.   2 1/2" Strips are needed in a color way and as background.  Two bright batik jelly rolls are available and strip sets can be made to order with a few days  notice.                                                                                                                                                                      
                                                                                      
Dollhouse Quilt Class Friday, April, 27th 10:00-2:00ish.  $15.00 each Session.
Anyone who started the Dollhouse class at a previous time is welcome to join the class.  Simply show up with what you have done so far.
