Happy Valentine's Day!  I have been so busy lately!  There is a lot going on in my personal life.  I am divorced now, and getting our log home ready to sell.  The business is always challenging and exciting!  I appreciate all of you who have supported Quail's Nest Quilt Co., LLC for the past 8 1/2 years.  I am willing and planning on keeping the shop.  You may see in the near future some "For Sale" signs.  I am open to selling 10%, 20%, 50%, or even 100% and still work and teach here.  Multiple small partners may work.  I have had inquiries about how I can fill in the gap as JoAnn's is closing.  It is all still "Up in the Air".  I may sell my house and get a small place to live in, and continue the shop as is.  I don't know.  Right now, I could use some volunteer help with small tasks.  Here are some small tasks I need help with:

Making scrap bags,  Making Fat Quarters and Fat Eighths, between 4:00 and 4:30, I need help with clean up chores. (Dump small trash cans, wipe down tables, vacuum)

Medium task help:  Cutting kits,  putting price tags on notions,  arranging the notions wall, clean out old project boxes, (under cut cutter is cluttered with old projects)

I can take a helper any day or time.  Just pop in and say, "I'm here to help".

New Fabric has arrived! 

  I had ordered this way back when I was teaching Circle Dance! Ha!

  Fish fabric.   I purchased a pattern that I would like to use with these fabrics with more fabric blended in.  

Smokey River    The 2 1/2" strip sets have arrived, finally, so that we can proceed with kitting this pattern.  

Intersected Quilt Class is scheduled for Friday, February 21st.  Let me know is you are interested in taking this class.    This fist set of kits have sold out, but I can create more.

Here is one block.  It is a variation on a Log Cabin with the black strips separating it.  

In honor of the President's Day weekend I will have fabric and notions on sale for 25% off tomorrow!
