Hi Everyone, If you are a "French General" fan, you will be glad to know that some pre-cuts have arrived in the shop, and bolts with florals and blenders will be arriving by Wednesday, November 5th. I ordered mini charms, which are 2 1/2" squares and work well for making Mondo Bags, English Paper Piecing projects, table runners, and, of course, quilts. Also, charm packs (5") squares are here now.
Look closely to see the Redwork embroidery lines. However, this panel has not been fullfilled by MODA yet.
I have a Beginning Quilting Class starting on Tuesday, November 4th, and it runs until December 2nd.

I am retiring from the Brick-and-Mortar Quilt Business some time this winter. My lease is up mid-January, which I may extend by a month. I have posted a sign on the door. I am retaining the Quail's Nest Quilt Co business name. I may be selling on-line, doing "pop-up" events like shows and festivals, and teaching for organizations and possibly from my townhouse in Columbia. I am open to selling my current business, but if that doesn't happen, I will liquidate most of the shop's inventory and furniture.
Right now, I have Halloween Fabric on sale at 40% off. Christmas fabric is 20% off. I will move forward reducing other fabrics, but new lines will not be on sale for a while. Later, next week I will start reducing other fabrics. I have to take one step at a time.
I have very much enjoyed having a quilt shop. It is time for me to finish some of my own projects and participate more with family and friends. I know it is tough on my valued customers and public. I hope something good will happen in the future.
