I just can't stop the creative juices though! I ordered Lori Holt's book that she published last year called, "Prairie Home". I ordered just one copy for myself to see if I liked it. I went to bed on Saturday night thinking about the Longunderwear and sock quilts! Yes, there is a log cabin quilt, and many beautiful projects with flowers, but by midnight I was back up planning how I was going to make the "Longjohns" quilt!
I found myself at the shop collecting 3/8th yards of twelve red fabrics and choosing Dotty Blizzard Thatched for a background! This quilt and the "Socks" quilt are in the Winter section of the book. I'm going to make this book my project book for the upcoming year. I ordered 4 more copies this morning in case anyone else catches Prairie Fever.
I am also making samples of the "Broiderie" and "Montmorency" patterns (or at least small parts for you all to look at}. I have ordered more Pearl French General as Background.
There is a pattern called, "Raining Love on You" for Valentine's Day. The fabrics range from cute to beautiful! I had to reorder Ruby Thatched to use as background, since the first background sold out. I ordered 4 more patterns. These items should arrive by the first week in December.
I didn't find the pictures I took of the above mentioned items in my home gmail, so I will check the shop computer in just a bit. I'm headed out to find "sock" fabric.
